This page details the optimal training methods for levelling up Cooking.

Once the player has access to Umbral Sands and have completed parts of it's main quest, Icthlarin's Little Helper, they get access to garou merchants. These merchants offer a direct source of buyable ingredients for Cooking in exchange for garou chits. As cooking ingredients on a grill give 10 XP each, we can calculate how many ingredients are required to reach a certain Cooking level.
Based on the previous region, Dowdun Reach, players indirectly need level 41 Cooking to complete its Black Knight's Fortress, as they need to cook maple sap into Maple Syrup. Taking that into consideration, here are the calculations for some level thresholds starting at level 41:
The cheapest ingredient available, redberries, gives 10 XP each and is sold at a rate of 3 garou chits per redberries:
If the player uses all the best Cooking experience boosts available (Inspiring Ring of Cooking, Knowledgable Nourishment, and Focused Cooking Potion):
With an empty inventory and the use of the Personal Chest (spell), players can buy about 5148 redberries per trip:

Dwellberry Crunchies and Redberry Crunchies are some of the easiest recipes to make because they use unprocessed wheat and dried berries. Berry bushes can be harvested every day and don't require constant replanting, making this a fairly low effort recipe to obtain ingredients for. The main benefit of this method is that it levels up both cooking and farming equally. Additionally, dwellberry crunchies can be used as a combat training food because it doesn't override experience buffs from other foods. To make 990 crunchies every day for around 40,000 cooking experience, the following setup is needed:
